In 2002 and 2003, the Wilton Town Hall Theatre distributed an email Newsletter. When the "Canned Spam" bill was passed, many of the Internet Service Providers (ISP's) put restrictions on email, specifically how many emails could be sent within a predefined period, and the acceptable content. Most ISP's specifically banned "bulk mail". We stopped the Newsletter at that time.

Today, Dennis hasn't decided whether to start it up again or not. If we did, we would be using a bulk mail service (Constant Contact™) that would allow you to self administer your subscription to the mailing list.
